Get bent.
It was a memorial service much like the man, restrained and proper yet charged with quiet energy. But as Washington honored Dick Cheney for his service and devotion to country, it underscored how much politics has turned topsy in this country. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/20/u...

If Democrats were deliberately trying to set up a situation where 2 Republicans advanced to the general election for governor, they couldn't do it any better than the current situation.

I didn't realize it was CNN's Jonathan Reiner who kept Dick Cheney alive all those years.

It's fuckin wild that Sean Duffy is telling everyday Americans to restore civility to air travel less than a week after his boss called a female reporter "piggy" on a plane.
Trump's Transportation Secretary on how to improve air travel:

"People dress up like they're going to bed when they fly... We want to push people as we come into a really busy travel season, help people out, be in a good mood, dress up"

WHAT
Breaking on MS NOW:

The full grand jury never reviewed the indictment it handed up against Comey.

Prosecutors said, instead of presenting a new indictment after the grand jury declined to approve one of the counts, Halligan simply brought an altered version for the grand jury's foreperson to sign.

Trump can release the Epstein files right now. This is tomfoolery.

Remember when conservatives went batshit crazy that government officials occasionally alerted social media companies to posts that might violate their TOS?

This afternoon I saw a 30ish-year-old guy wearing a MAGA hat and a shirt with the characters from Frozen on it.

I have been unable to stop thinking about it since.

The easiest con job Trump ever pulled was convincing his voters and the mainstream media that he's a populist.
“The Trump administration will require millions of low-income people to reapply for food stamps…”

Handing out billions to himself and his friends like candy and raiding the treasury but now wants to squeeze the poorest among us.

We need to know why there are so many typos in the Epstein emails. Do all these people have fat thumbs? Do they have the world's worst autocorrect? Are the masters of the universe actually borderline illiterate?

I demand congressional hearings on this.

In case you're wondering if any MSNBC hosts have called for Chuck Schumer to step down, no, they haven't. In fact, Lawrence O'Donnell doubled down on his defense of Schumer tonight by condescendingly telling viewers, "Let's talk about your feelings."

This was him last night...

the Democrats have lost MattY, Chait, even fucking Chris Cilizza on this cave

as far as I can tell the entire list of people in or around Democratic politics who think this vote was a good idea consists of the people who took the vote and whoever else in the caucus silently supported them
"Democrats could have held the line on the shutdown, and spent weeks watching Trump’s approval ratings fall," writes @jonathanbchait.bsky.social
Instead, he argues, they're making a mistake by giving in:

There should be no Kings in Maine’s 2030 senate general election.
Healthcare costs for millions of Americans are doubling. Angus King has a net worth of $22 million.

[Marisa Tomei My Cousin Vinny voice, to Democrats]:

They have to, by law! They're entitled. It's called the Government Employee Fair Treatment Act, ya dickhead!
One of the talking points I keep seeing from Democrats is that part of the deal is that it will "ensure federal workers receive back pay" but that's the existing law!

That's not something you've won in negotiations. That's just the letter of the law. You don't get to claim that as a win.
