We can all use our words. As a deaf woman, I can say Thanks, but I am ok. I have agency. You seem as intent as the person in the original to remove mine. I'dd rather someone be kind than miss the message. I also tell people on the train with airpods in if there has been an important change

I am deaf and tbh, I would have thought it really kind and rather sweet. I wear hearing aids that can hear a gnat fart in space, but it would have been a kind gesture. Lets not stop kindness in favour of handwringing eh.

Agreed. Which is what the vat rise is to address but until the time we go the way of Finland, it will never be fair. It is not my background or personal politics but I have a chance to do it for my kid so do. Personally I'd like a system like Finland, it's be good for everyone but it'll never happen
