Fourteen Democratic state attorneys general sued Elon Musk and President Trump on Thursday to challenge Musk’s "unchecked power." The lawsuit came on the same day that Musk and his team were sued by government employees represented by the State Democracy Defenders Fund, a nonprofit watchdog.

Scotus should actually have some ethics and standards and stand by them. SCOTUS has had serious rot for decades and Chief Justice John Roberts far from taking action has just enabled its continuation.
“The Supreme Court’s chief justice, John Roberts, is now echoing Trump’s demand that people stop criticizing him, his colleagues, and other federal jurists — while continuing to pretend that judges are not political.”

Interesting post, but what is more critical is that enough money can overcome any and all obstacles and become an oversized and unmanageable obstacle to actual democracy. Just looks what big money did in Syria and Russia. The people of both of those countries are absolutely miserable.
An African immigrant to the US has managed to capture the federal government and is now actively influencing European politics. A real source of inspiration as it shows that being an immigrant, stupid and mentally ill are not obstacles to success in the U.S.

What is John Fetterman doing? Pennsylvania liberals ... talk to your guy (is he the new Joe Manchin?)
John Fetterman just became a full sponsor of the Laken Riley Act, which would mandate detention for any noncitizen even *arrested* for a theft offense (even if not convicted) and give state AGs sweeping and privileged private enforcement powers in federal court. www.foxnews.com/politics/rep...
