Read and learn. Be kind when you can, but send mean people packing. Never argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience. 🐸
While I was mixing cookie dough, I got a text from my sister with pictures of the cookies she's baking today. Family mind meld?

You can tell you're on the right page when you see the green food coloring stains.

Good morning, my Bleeps. The woodpeckers have vacuumed up all the peanuts and now it's the little guy's turn.

Hello.

Survey says it's still fall, but winter is coming.

I just picked up a loaf of bread off the kitchen counter and found this little 4 cm guy underneath. Lizards lay their little eggs in any crevice they can find, so you never know where you're going to encounter them. #FloridaProblems

Good morning, my Bleeps. My Christmas cactus has spent the year outside with automatic watering and being largely ignored. I just checked on it, and it looks like it's ready to celebrate.

This nativity is over 40 years old. I coveted one of the fancy nativities, but they were too expensive for me, a student. This one closely resembles the one we had in my childhood, and has satisfied my nostalgic needs for many years.

This tiny nativity came from my daughter. The largest piece is less than 2 cm tall.

We aren't completely silly. Here's a favorite of mine: a 2-inch tall Peruvian nativity.

Years ago, my SIL gave us a nativity in the form of a set of modernistic Christmas ornaments. My family joked about the appearance of the Christ child, which now MUST appear on the tree each year, and is variously referred to as the Holy Butter Dish or the Holy Bread Loaf.

Good morning, from Mr. and Mrs. Painted Bunting.

Alright, peeps. After gorily killing off multiple characters, scaring the bejesus out of the reader, & leaving it impossible to identify the killer, this one has a sappy ending, à la Dickens' A Christmas Carol. I didn't love it. I didn't hate it. God bless us, every one.

This gift tag deserves to be on the tree.

Hubs created a nice light effect by hiding the lava lamp behind the kerosene lantern. No fuel, flames or wick trimming required. Genius! Of course, you do have a lava lamp, yes?

Good morning, my Bleeps. Reposting this from a year ago. Christmas frenzy!

There are strange portents about. I just found a serenely dead bird with a slightly chipped beak but no other apparent injuries and a smashed iPhone in my driveway.
