The grow out coop/pen is so close to done. Which is good because these chicks are starting to wear me down with their evil eye.
A little prefab chicken coop that’s been torn apart, rebuilt and modified. It’s sitting next to a full sized chicken coop. There is hardware wire everywhere. It looks the like chicken keeper is afraid of all sorts of predators eating her chickens. Maybe chickens are known to be delicious to all sorts of predators. Yes. Yes. Chickens are delicious!! 5 week old Icelandic chicks showing their anger at being held in a 4x8 foot brooder with all the amenities. Sticks! Grass! Rocks! Adventures! Flies! Worms! No, they want the real outside and the chance of being eaten. They know they are a snack.

Had a real special
meal my mom used to make…barber brand frozen stuffed chicken breast, instant mashed po-ta-toes, and peas. I even did my kid a solid and fully cooked the chicken and took the peas out of the microwave.
