(Obviously, I'm not implying you can get sick through the phone. 🫠 Just that everybody seems to be sick right now, so be careful out there.)

Yeah. I'm not sure I'm going to be brave enough.

I found the directions online. It's it true they only say to do the injection in your thigh? I'm concerned that's going to hurt like &#$@!

Jeez. Ouch. 😔

Read that this morning. Awful.

Let me know if it would be helpful to ask #MigraineChat folks if they’ve found workarounds.

I've heard a few folks say that was a brutal update for migraine. 😔

Whatever plan you work out, good luck! I hope you get relief.

Did you say you already tried CGRPs and I missed that? If so, apologies. Fatigue and brain fog are pretty bad.

One thought, Botox+CGRP meds have been shown to work really well in combination for those who can get both covered. I can dig up the studies if you need evidence to show your doc/insurance, but maybe worth asking about.

I've never used ketamine typically but have had intranasal. I was prescribed a super low dose, though, so found it ineffective. I don't know much about topical k.

Lowering your attacks in general should help the allodynia so a preventive is still a good idea. But sound like a topical is smart, too.

I should've asked where you are. These are all available in the US, and many in Canada and UK. Unsure elsewhere.

Have you tried the CGRP meds? Either the injectables or oral (Nurtec, Qulipta) ones?

Under the health resume section of my Resources page is a list of treatments. There are a few missing since it hasn't been updated in a bit but might be helpful.

Those don't work for people with Medicare, unfortunately. So, yeah, 🤞🏻🤞🏻.

Do you have to get this through a specialty pharmacy?
