So in order to grow the team, I’m thrilled to announce AltStore has received an investment of $6 million USD from @cpaik! Chris was an early investor in Patreon & Twitch, and we’ve been close ever since he sideloaded the manga reader Paperback with AltStore years ago

Additionally, Flipboard CEO […]

Developers can now federate apps, updates, and news alerts to the open social web via our custom Mastodon server, and all likes, boosts, and comments will appear natively in AltStore.

We plan to release this officially soon — but you can check […]

The rocks catching the last rays of the setting sun. Soft breeze whispers its secrets and the waves keep trying to sprinkle me. This is the kind of conversation that I enjoy. Sometimes I feel just a breath away from understanding it all.

a square seascape with rocks on 3 sides and a separate bunch of rocks in the very middle of the photo surrounded by the water. The sky is full of horizontal stripes with late evening peach colours. The rocks catch the last rays of sun painting them orange.

From one of my favourite local #vancouver #forests to explore, this image of a Maple Vine tree reaching for the light is one of my favourites.

To get the compression I wanted I had to stitch about 9 frames together to get the full image in one shot. Moving […]

A lush forest scene, with a multi trunk maple vine leaning at an aggressive angle across the panoramic scene towards the brighter sunlit area on the right. The yellow leaves of the tree contrast strongly against the dark greens. Some haze from mist obscures the background forest slightly.

@sturmsucht I really appreciate hearing your perspective as well as from others on this thread. This is a great example of how social media can be useful. Sometimes things can seem so simple when in fact they're not. I think people are making a good point in this thread that the people of […]

Reminder: Any report on Trump's insane lawsuit against the New York Times that includes the absurd, demanded amount of damages is PR for Trump.

And journalistic malpractice.

Why? Anyone can sue anyone for any amount of money. They put in ridiculous amounts to get the media to do PR for them.

I've been a founder pretty much my entire adult life and my definition of "founder mode" is more of a "founder loop" which is quite simple:

Try best to craft product for customers/users; Meet and talk with them to gather feedback; Debrief with team to strategize and sequence changes; Repeat for […]

First real study of #Threads-#Fediverse interop at scale. Key bits: Fedi→Threads replies dominate (likely due to current UX on Threads for fedi), surges tied to rollout events, steady growth, & interop didn’t worsen convo tone. Early but encouraging data: https://arxiv.org/html/2502.17926v2
