The #Sixers have to be better than the rock bottom that was last season. There are reasons for optimism & hope. The vibes are as good as they’ve been in years. The health of Embiid & Paul George are the swing factor but the young guards should be fun to watch. Prediction: 45-37.

VJ Edgecombe could very well be the guy with the 3rd pick but it’s absolutely in the #Sixers benefit to make teams like Charlotte and Washington think he’s the Sixers guy.

With the Knicks heading to the conference finals for the first time in 25 seasons the only teams with longer droughts than the #Sixers (24 seasons) are the Wizards (46 years) and Hornets (36 years).

Sixers finish 24-58 on the season. Preseason they were +1400 to win the title and their o/u was 50.5 wins. The 26.5 win delta is the third worst season by an NBA team in the last 26 seasons (compiling 775 seasons).

2025 #Phillies prediction: This is still a really good team and the October disappointments of the past two seasons are clouding that. Their limitations will likely rear their ugly head in the postseason but it should be an enjoyable spring and summer of baseball. 91-71.
