I live in Michigan and it's beautiful here.
Of my last 10 posts on BlueSky: 6 posts have had zero likes, 3 posts had 1 like, and 2 posts had 2 likes.

I made the same posts on Threads. Some also got 0 likes, but others got up to 500 and several comments.

I think I'm done posting here. It's a ghost town.

This is a very niche request, but I want someone to cover the song "It's Terror Time Again" from Scooby Doo on Zombie Island, but as "It's Tariff Time Again."

I'm preaching on Ephesians 2 this week and the inclusion of Gentiles. I'm really tempted to say "If you're a Gentile Christian, which most of you are, then you have benefited from the greatest act of #DEI in history: the Imago DEI!”

Yeah I'm into horror movies.

And by that I mean reading the Wikipedia plot summaries of horror movies because I'm too scared to watch them. 🫣

I can't believe Toto got away with the line "As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti." That is way too many syllables, Toto.

This isn't just a stupid take. I think it's downright evil. Satanic even, and I'm not exaggerating. It is a perversion of the faith, stripping the gospel of all its good news of grace and mercy, and replacing it with hatred, selfishness, and fear.

Me, with time enough at last, reading my own BlueSky posts.

A lot of my personality today (endless Wikipedia scrolling, random trivia connoisseur) traces back to my dad installing Encarta 95 on the family computer. I played MindMaze daily.

*listening to Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Christmas Canon in the car*

Me: "This song is based on Pachelbel's Canon."

My son: "...what's a Taco Bell Cannon?"

Mozart has been in the public domain for centuries. When are we going to get the horror parody The Marring of Figaro?

This implanted itself deep within my mind. I forgot all about it, but I still say "It's common courtesy!"

When you want to eat the last cornetto but you're Indiana Jones and have self restraint.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is pretty good so far, but it's hard to top the best Indy game: The Fate of Atlantis.

Thanks Chevy, but I live in Michigan and this notification pops up for half the year..

A friend sent me a Christmas gift and tracking number. It was sent via SpeedX, which I'd never heard of. Google showed nothing but complaints, though, so I wasn't surprised when they delivered to the wrong house! I drove around and this house isn't even in my neighborhood...

I'm about to find out if it's not too late for Wicked to hit my Spotify Unwrapped

I saw the Wicked musical in Detroit last year and thought it was good, but not great. This movie was actually better in my opinion. The musical is pretty rushed. Breaking it up into two parts and slowing it down was a good fall. Can't wait until next year!

The only YouTube content creators I care about are the ones who make videos about how to DIY fix broken things around my house. Thank you, kind stranger who posted a video 9 years ago about how to fix a leaky outdoor spigot. You're a lifesaver!

It was a packed house in Detroit for Creed last night! Singing along with 12,000 other people was something else.

I'm seeing Creed tonight! I was listening to them in the car and told my 10-year-old about the concert. He said, "Wow, that's cool. It's just going to be dads there, right?"

"Yep, son. Just dads. Maybe some moms. A few grandparents, too..."
