@iandunt.bsky.social your Striking 13 description of party conferences reads like cosmic horror in places. Half expected a fringe event where H.P. Lovecraft proposes a radical restructure of the civil service by summoning Azathoth, accompanied with tepid white wine and sweaty cheese sandwiches.

What's the worst piece of software you have to use regularly?
For me, it's HP Smart, a piece of junk. Can't connect to printer, diagnose issue in app, no issues found, happily creates test print, then continues to be steadfast in its belief that the printer is unavailable. Utter garbage.

Hi @friede.bsky.social, I hope you don't mind me asking a question. Is there any research you're aware of that explores barriers to running TTRPGs as they relate to gender? The RPG collective I'm involved with has proportionally far fewer female GMs than players, I'm interested in exploring why.
