Now I'm thinking about a battle between a team of 6 Dog Pokémon vs 6 Cat Pokémon. There are plenty to choose from on both sides.

Initially I was skeptical of the Furfrou League quest but it was actually quite silly and fun and a little challenging to think about how to make a strong team of just 6 Furfrou*.

*Rare Candy. The answer is Rare Candy. A team of level 75 Furfrou was overkill.
