That's cool! Yeah, Alien 1 is a fairly decent gateway into horror. There's just a few intended jumpscares, but the major one provides plenty of buildup to prepare you for it.

Great timing. I saw this at the beginning of the 2004 school year and always tend to think of it around this time. Alien: Isolation is a horror masterpiece. I've been reflecting on it a lot recently. The other day, I pulled my PS4 copy just to keep it displayed at all times.

Just okay. Helps if you're big into the orig trilogy. The one thing they nailed is the 70s scifi esthetic. Wanted and stealth mechanics are messy and can kill a session.

After The Zone, they'd repeat the same Disney movie and some SpongeBob until the early morning. Once Disney+ launched, it was all gone, like it never happened.

It happened about a year before Disney+ Canada launched. Like TCG said, Corus snatched the rights they could. As a result, Disney became a major part of YTV's identity. It was bizarre. They played a Disney movie basically every day.

Remember when linear TV worked pretty well for decades, then streaming came along and everything slowly went to heck in a hamsterball?

I can't even feel sad about this, all I can do is laugh. Corus will forever be known as the guys who lost SpongeBob.
