While Labour and the Tories busily worry about Nigel Farage, the Greens are looking at how to make Britain better for the vast majority.
Polls show that Labour's actually losing far fewer voters to Reform than to the Greens. With @zackpolanski.bsky.social offering real hope, you can see why.

My secret evil plot to ‘destroy Britain’ has been unveiled by (checks notes) the same paper that endorsed Liz Truss.

If I don’t know better I’d say we’ve got them entirely rattled.

They want to ditch the #ECHR to "assist with forced removals and #Immigration."

Do you how many UK forced removals the #ECHR have stopped?

4. In 4 years.

It's not about #Immigration. It's about ALL THE OTHER RIGHTS they want to strip you of.

Yes, we should harmonise taxes so that income from wealth is charged at the same rate as paid work. Currently, many business owners pay themselves more in dividends than salaries to minimise tax.
So, the best off pay proportionately less. Which must end, however much the establishment complains.

Robert Jenrick has slammed Liz Truss’ mini-Budget as “careless” and “unconservative” as he said the Tory party must accept its mistakes.
Interestingly, that's the budget that Nigel Farage praised that led to national crisis and Truss being ousted.

As politicians threaten to leave the ECHR over immigration, award-winning actor Jonathan Pryce suggests that a compelling drama about refugees living in Britain could be one way to defuse the rising anger and anti-migrant sentiment in the UK.
Yes, please.

I realise that there are lots of erudite and entirely correct reasons against leaving the ECHR, but surely the main one to be repeated ad nauseam is "from the people who told you Brexit would solve all of your problems - how did that work out for you?"

Reform UK’s Nigel Farage with the Russian Ambassador (that he denied meeting), and with Oleg Voloshyn's wife Nadia Borodi, Voloshyn bribed Nathan Gill.

Farage is still silent.

It’s deafening.

I put out a new book recently, A Particular View. There are a few contemporary ghost stories, some that are sinister in other ways and a few more everyday tales.
It's 99p on Kindle.

The absolute state of political debate about asylum and immigration. A global reality that has no obvious "answer" leading to various unconvincing solutions more or less nasty, more or less likely to achieve their goals.

Absolute credit to Wes Streeting for directly contradicting the poison that comes from Nigel Farage, by welcoming and thanking people who make Britain their home to work in our health and social care systems.
Reform would send them packing and collapse the NHS.

Nathan Gill is no fringe politician.

He was the leader of the Reform Party and before that UKIP in Wales.

A Brexit Party MEP.

A friend and ally of Nigel Farage, who in 2016 called him:

"terrific," and "as honest as the day is long."

This is a MASSIVE story

It seems many people need reminding that Nigel Farage made 17 appearances on Kremlin-backed RT (Russia Today) 2010-14, and yes, at one point he had a moustache.

He is a sabateure and traitor of Great Britain.

I wonder if this guy is related to "Boris Johnson" who introduced "voter id" as Prime Minister in 2023 ... off the back of some crazy US conspiracy theories ... and in the process, made digital ID pretty much inevitable.

People can say that flying the flag is a positive statement, they can say it's about pride in a place, but it is also coninciding with, and symbolic of, a period of more hostility, meanness and racism.
Digital ID won't help. Properly ending austerity and standing up to the far right should.
