Grading finals, and it's become clear that LLMs absolutely fail at presenting and interpreting qualitative data. They can give an overview of the thesis, but cannot cite examples--or even say *where and when* the ethnographic work was done.

I think the coolest part of CUNY's single sign on system is that you have to sign in multiple times on the same account to access different things.

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

It is insane how many of the replies are like, "if I can't drive 75 in a residential zone then how can I stop the 30-50 feral hogs that run into my yard within 3-5 minutes while my small kids play?"
My least popular (and most correct) view is that cars should be automatically limited to the local speed limit. Put the pedal to the floor and you still can't go over 25mph in a residential area.

This is what every university administrator is already doing tho: reducing academics to job training and relying on underpaid, precarious workers. All it does is make everyone miserable. It’s not new or audacious; it’s been the conservative blueprint since the late 1970s!
