During last week’s Foreign Affairs Council I urged EU partners to push for an immediate ceasefire, respect for international humanitarian law and unhindered access for aid. We will keep working with the EU, international organizations and regional actors to help end the violence. 2/2

We also stressed the importance of upholding the international rules-based order and the multilateral system. We face similar security challenges, and we are all part of the solutions. 2/2

I already had the chance to catch up with, among others, #Singapore Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, #Philipines Foreign Minister Theresa Lazaro, and #Laos FM Thongsavanh Phomvihane. I look forward to meeting more Indo-Pacific friends today, reinforcing our mutual partnership. 2/2

Palestinian involvement and support are key for making the US peace plan succeed. We remain firmly committed to a negotiated two-state solution. For this, a reformed and financially stable Palestinian Authority is crucial. The Netherlands commends the progress made so far. 2/2

We call for an immediate ceasefire and the protection of civilians, safe and unhindered humanitarian access, and a broad Sudanese-led and Sudanese-owned inclusive political process. The EU will continue to work with the Quad and AU to stop the suffering and end the conflict. 2/2
