Boycotting immoral academic institutions and academics who frequently dispute expert opinion on genocide is the bare minimum. Imagine engaging with individuals devoid of human values but thinking they’d uphold research ethics. Even worse, knowing they’ve served in the IDF at one point.

There's a weird level of racialization that happens here too sometimes, this idea that Qatar or the UAE are secretly super happy with Israel running roughshod. Perfidy etc. These are evil countries but they're also countries with their own interests. They are just not that good at advancing them.
