Interested to see how this turns out. At a high level on in favour of rethinking regulatory processes especially if efficiencies can be found. I know the same type of review by professionals under the PGA (of which I am one) is being considered by the provincial government.
A private member's bill by an NDP MLA is causing an extra layer of tension between municipalities and the provincial government over who has the final say in land use and housing approvals.

A rule of thumb for tsunamis is that in open ocean, they move at similar speeds to commercial airliners. If you're ever curious how long it would take for a tsunami to get from one place to another, look up the duration of a similar-length flight.
