no question the thing that's blackpilled me the hardest out of leftist Discourse, at least in the anglosphere, is how little anyone could possibly care less about cars unless they're some kind of insane ecofascist. the closest thing you get is "it would be better if we had good public transit!"

turns out pretty often you can just walk into scientific symposiums. they kind of don't care if you're Supposed to be there, and your odds of getting free food are nonzero.
