Genocide of Palestinians is appalling.

It’s not complicated.

It’s Not Antisemitic to Say That Israel Is Responsible for the Unfolding Genocide in Gaza
The contention that the US is in the driver’s seat with Israel the “cop on the beat” is an old and musty one from the 1990s that has not aged well.

The FBI Director tweeted about arresting her before it was unsealed on the docket.

There is a very dark method in Trump's madness.
It is his use of the big lie to distract and divide his opponents while making cruelty seem like patriotism.
He learned his political stage lessons from the biggest liar in history.

The rush to destroy things like USAID and other agencies before lawsuits can stop them is to make it moot. When our stupidly slow judicial system finally moves to stop them it will be far too late. If all 10,000 USAID employees are home and projects abandoned it’s done. It’s evil.

To be clear, if Trump says he “disagrees with the leadership” in your country and suggest that “something should happen there” then it probably means you’ve got the right kind of leaders. Trump only likes “leaders” that are like him or bend the knee to him.

If he likes yours, pick different ones.

I’ve heard Rachel talk about her time in Tunisia watching a democracy collapse in real-time before. This is something that shapes her journalism and one of the reasons she’s so fearless
The United States, to hear some tell it, is currently experiencing a “plutocratic coup.”

Its democracy is in decline, reports have warned.

In light of that, I’d like to share a slightly personal story -- one that keeps me up at night:
