What are the chances that if Nintendo announced a regular direct over a Partner Showcase, people would be crying about how the Switch 2 doesn't have enough third-party support?

I think it'd be pretty cool if there were demakes of Switch 2 Welcome Tour, but instead, show off the old Nintendo consoles.

Any time this story comes up, people assume that ALL DVDs are doomed, but no. They're not gonna last forever, but apart from some mid-2000s WB movies and sets, optical media is pretty damn resilient. There are tons of LaserDiscs old enough to be your dad that still work.
