This right here is why ID verification is a bad idea. This kind of thing can end badly for everyone. That’s why we need to keep pushing for Password Protected Invite Only Accounts on social media and any platform for creative expressions. PPIOAs are better in the long run and are leagues more

Follows are widely seen as a form of social proof and that's not going to change. Bluesky already has feeds which allows people to see content from people they don't follow.

Also: Don't permaban people for pointing out when devs follow problem accounts, it makes the devs look petty and vindictive

Those labels exist because Bluesky refused to ban those accounts, promoting "community moderation" instead. This is the direction Bluesky chose.

There is actually a lot of truth to this. People loved couch co-op in a lot of games and it was often a reason to visit and hang out with friends and now couch co-op is rarely an option anymore, forcing everyone to play "together" remotely.
