Opera North Performance of the Magic Flute at the theatre royal Nottingham. Wonderful show which included sign language interpreters as part of the cast. They signed the words and the music and amongst the great performers they stole the show.

Happily exhausted after a full weekend of singing #shapenote songs in Sheffield. 85 songs from the Denson Book Saturday and then a good couple of hours singing from the Shenandoah Harmony Sunday. So good…… now home and bed beckons.

Enjoyed making a Christmas placemat with my cousin’s kids. I let them pick the colours for the letters & they each placed a sticker on too. There was something very cathartic about colouring & chatting with them. They learned about palindromes whilst writing my name. #christmas #drawing
