-Most book ban campaigns in America were found to be driven by 6-12 people
-Transphobic trending topics on Twitter were often traced back to just 6-9 accounts
-Most people don't actually use AI

1. I'd maintain that Boaty McBoatface is a sign of *absolute* sincerity.
2. It's worth noting that articles like this never distinguish *who* is engineering these prompts. It's always assumed/presented that it's just your average people, but there's really no reason to accept that's the case.

Well, according to this report from August 2024, only 40% of adults in the US had used it. And, only about 13% of adults used it regularly. And, that was just a year ago in the most AI propaganda saturated market in the world. I reckon there’s more to the story.

Yeah, I think a lot of it is just that we’re all super traumatised and, in that state, we lack a lot of the resilience to grapple with ambiguities and negotiate consensus. But, I also think AI is nowhere near as widely used as they’d like us to think, so who knows what it all means, really?

I really like the writers that capture the side of Wade that is under constant pain, which is one of the reasons he’s always joking (to distract himself) and a reason he wants to relieve the pain of others.
