So, as a self-soothing thing, I’ve been rewatching early episodes of Law & Order. Was newly astonished by this episode from 1992. Had to send it to my friend @fuzzyg.host, who is currently making a video game about a horrible lady landlord. The problems of today have been building for many years.

It feels illustrative that the Qld LNP govt and the federal Labor govt seem to have the same comms rn. Both are pumping out message after message of ‘look, we’re helping, we’re doing stuff, look’. Suggests they’re both getting feedback of ‘you’re not doing anything useful’. And, not examining why…

Just a nice story from my past week. Last week, Australia’s government arts department tried to do a giving day - where every arts org would ask for donations on the same day. I work for a community circus for marginalised gender folk. With few resources and a different approach, we just raised 10k!
