I think the moment Bernie was leading right before the pandemic was the last time I wasn’t cynical about politics and my hope was destroyed shortly thereafter. I hope this signals a shift, but I need to see more than NYC to believe it.

I get that with Prop 50, California is trying to fight fire with fire, but feels like we’re in for 3 years of states redrawing districts until we have completely Red and Blue states with no real democracy, but sure, let’s do it

I would love for this to be a hopeful sign for the future, but a moderate Democrat won the Virginia governors race, I wonder which campaign the party will emulate
I’m glad Zohran won and all, but as a non-New Yorker who will not be impacted at all by his election, I’m so glad it’s over
