My 11yo asked why he has to go to a dr visit for a vaccination (DTAP). I let him know about the benefits of being vaccinated/boosted for those particular illness and that, FOR NOW, it’s a state standard to go into the 7th grade. Of course we live in SC so I can imagine how that may change. Ugh.

So at this point they’re handing him ridiculous EOs like plastic straws and Red White and Blueland the way you’d give toddlers coloring sheets to make them feel like they’re also doing “big boy work” right? While the real dismantling happens around him.

Do the brains of the morally bankrupt simply not have certain neurons firing or have/lack a certain chemical or something that allows them to sleep without thinking about the consequences of their actions? Is lack of empathy physiological?
