This is a small thread on the market inefficiencies of Amazon.

Take at look at these "Dementia Clocks". There's three more screens just like this -- all the same model of clock, each with one of those indecipherable brand names.

The previous use of the word "bespoke" was the past tense of "bespeak", a lovely archaicism. I was nevertheless surprised to see the earliest printed reference with the modern meaning of "custom" cited in 1869.

It's hard to get more literal than an image of the White House being demolished, without permission of any of Congress or the Architect of the Capitol or the White House HIstorical Association or anybody, in order to to build a ballroom like that of Louis XVI at Versailles, only ten times tackier.

JFC, just what we need, a Federal judge likening people showing up in frog costumes to firing cannon a Fort Sumter.

The whole point of the AGs' argument is we have precedents for what constitutes an insurrection, and being mean to ICE is not akin to the literal first shot in a civil war.

He literally ran on the platform of "I am your retribution"

Ironically (well, not really, anymore) his court-filed appeal on the NYS corporate fraud conviction was that Letitia James ran on a platform that she would prosecute him.

Went to a college fair with my kid last night

I ranked the colleges by the quality of the pens they gave away

Congratulations to Utica University for achieving the top rating!

I used to check the Bureau of Labor Statistics for this chart every couple of months. I can't find it there now. Hmm. 🤔

When the @redsox.com game is on Fox, the broadcast station we don't get very well. (That's Narvaez throwing to second.) It's like a video Leroy Neiman in a blender. Thank goodness for the WEEI broadcast
