A lot of the people who blame screens really just don’t like a world where they can be routed around, made unimportant, because we can simply talk to each other directly. And those people do not have our best interests at heart.

Life online can be bad just like any human community relationship can be bad, but the blame for that lies primarily in the companies and the CEOs who make terrible decisions, not the users who have little control, and certainly not the internet itself.
