He maintained his powerful performance, tremendous charm and thoughtful consideration throughout the concert, and hyped us all along. We are loved and we love him.

Just before Christmas, I got a puppy. Her name is Minerva, and we call her *Minnie. I'm still learning how to understand her. Me: Do you need to go outside? Do you need to go outside, little baby? Do you need to do a poo? Do you need to do a widdle piddle? Minnie: Arf! *I just call her "little baby" most of the time. I'm also realizing I can't turn off the baby talk now. Nobody tells you about that. I got so lucky with my first puppy. Her wonderful foster parents had her completely house-trained by the time we adopted her, so taking her outside for potty time has been pretty easy. I've got the puppy poopy routine pretty much down, now. Me, putting on my coat: Let's see... I got the little poopy bags, puppy treats for bribes, jacket, scarf, phone… I think that's everything… Oh yes! And my passport. I had been carrying around my passport for a while, but I knew it didn't matter. This is wrong. Nobody is required to carry around their papers. I became a US citizen when I was seven. Since I was born in a refugee camp, I was stateless. The US is the only nation where I've ever held citizenship. It's the only passport I've ever had, and it still felt important. Protective. I would hold it in my pocket like a talisman, like it might ward off ghosts or something. But I realized I was holding onto it basically out of superstition. ICE will pick up anybody. I know that. So I tucked my passport away. And I largely avoid leaving my house. I live a few blocks just South of George Floyd Square. I was in the neighborhood for that, too. And all the neighbors came together to protect each other. We're already organized. We'll do our best to get through this. Me, to my dog: I hope I can take you for a walk someday soon. Won't that be nice, little baby?

Not to be unkind, but I am so impatient about the “what’s the point of making my little zines/comics/crafts/art when the world is on fire” sentiments. I get it, but saving the world is not a responsibility shouldered by your art! That’s what being a neighbor, a friend, and hell, a citizen is for!!!

I just found the texts at the bottom of my notes so here y'a go, for those who didn't saw that 💜

4 pics one for each member with a pic of the member on stage + à text Namjoon sounds like a clay pot that was recently made, still wet, & not fired yet. Really earthy. Like thesmell after it rains. He raps and sings in a very pretty deep low voice usually. His rap sounds super authoritative, like he knows he's in charge, but his singing is really delicate and sweet, like he's singing to a little niece sitting on his lap. Jin sounds like a big bubble, super clear & iridescent. Like on the old Cinderalla cartoon when she's washing the floor and the bubbles are flying everywhere and reflecting everything. lt's very smoothand clear, like plastic or hardened acrylic. Jin usually sings pretty high & his parts tend to act like sprinkles on a cake. Yoongi sounds like a roaring lion if you translate that into words, Super confident, sometimes very aggressive, like bullets flying at you. He raps and sings in a lower voice, but not as low as Joonie. His raps sound super straight, like a laser beam Yoongi often sounds like he's at the edge of insanity, in a Heath-Ledger-as-Joker sort of way. Hobi sounds like an image of a bright. almost neon rainbow floating in a pitch black sky with stars Or sometimes like a hand reaching out and squeezing your heart. If Yoongi's raps are straight, Hobi's raps are a wavy line, lots of tonal changes and he takes a more winding path with the words as opposed to spitting them out. His singing is always really passionate and powerful, like someone yelling out with strong emotions maybe happiness or maybe grief.

I know ticket anxiety is HIGH but as someone who got here just before the entire world shut down and was literally unemployed in my parents’ spare room while the PTD concerts happened thousands of miles away, my first and perhaps still strongest impression of BTS-on-tour is the way it unfolds +
