I don't know, I understand that deepseek was trained on chatGPT so once a big model is trained you can make smaller ones by "distillation". I think the fidelity of Sora has more to do with the amateur shaky, blurry material it was trained on, imperfections are harder to spot.

Porn is always at the forefront of technological innovation and I don't think AI-porn is taking over beyond the niche of specific kinks that are not fully served by rule 34. Maybe hybrid deepfakes, beautifying etc.

Even if it fails as a platform, the technology is here to stay, and every amateur video of, say, a police shooting will be doubted until there’s an extensive forensic analysis.

Alas, journalists and amateur sleuths won’t be able to verify whether every girl videoblogging from Gaza is real or not.

I think it's going to kill short-form video as we know it. Its very existence undermines any expectation of information or authenticity.

I love all Foddy's games but hate to play them. This one is a collaboration and has a different vibe. Maybe bc you fail and succeed differently every time. It has a strong theme, perfectly delivered story bits, a degree of openness, and a satisfying game feel that clashes with the punishing levels.

There could be a reasonable compromise: progressives advance programs and mount an opposition in blue districts, while centrists run as Republican-lite in battleground states.

But rich donors don't care about Erie, PA. They don’t care who wins, only that the system stays favorable to them.
