If my neighbors heard me or were woken up by this, I am guessing they weren’t surprised. It is perfectly normal and acceptable for anyone In These Times to scream “fuck youuuu!” into the darkness of the world at 2am.

Or at a bouncing ball that woke them up.

I got Biddy the Pittie Puppy one of those touch-activated “smart balls.”

Well, at like 2am that thing woke on its own, crashing around the kitchen.

I thought it was a giant mouse. I was so scared and pissed I opened the back door and loudly screamed “fuck youuuu!” as I lobbed it across the yard.

This is actually a great idea. We should walk up with boxes of them to WCCO, KARE, FOX9, Star Tribune, MPR. With a bullhorn. Because Cops & Authoritarianism are coming after them, too.

If you care abt media, cops, authoritarianism and rising, the erosion of civil rights, & the way these things all work together, I cannot recommend @equalityalec.bsky.social's book enough. It is CRITICAL reading for right now, deep in history, analysis, case studies. It has 40 pages of "notes"!

I thought it was a very responsible decision to wait & purchase something I had been coveting from this shop in Amsterdam until it was drastically reduced.

And then, after already paying shipping fees, DHL required me to pay another $70 to deliver it bc of tariffs.

Lesson learned: Never wait. 😅
