That public notice sign was attached to a house on 26th Street. A city worker put the wrong street name on it. Google maps shows that someone auctioned off the fire house during the pandemic.

Over the past decade, the 500 block of 26th Street has seen at least two fires, one that killed a three-year-old girl, the removal of a decomposed body from inside a house, and three fatal shootings. It's a short block, and it's a sad block.

The legwork detectives did to find a man who shot and injured another person in Fells Point over the summer made it possible for them to identify one of the suspects involved in a shooting that injured an 18-year-old man near the Inner Harbor months later.

Southwestern District detectives are investigating a shooting that has injured at least one person. There are multiple crime scenes around the 3900 block of Stokes Drive.

My understanding is that the gunshot victim climbed over a fence to save his life. There's a blood trail that backs that up.

Don't worry. I'm going to treat her better than the average person.

I saw her out of the corner of my eye and wondered if she was available. I thought it couldn't hurt to check.

Maybe this is how the opposite sex feels. Idk.

Turns out she was free to go for a stroll. So, that's what we did.

Also, this stretch of Harford Road is where police recovered the body of Jeffrey Brooks Jr. in March 2023. His roommate told detectives they could find his body inside a car behind the 6800 block.

The last homicide investigation in this area was in the 3000 block of Westfield Avenue on July 2. That's when a 32-year-old man was shot.

There was a fatal stabbing of a 26-year-old man on that same block the month before that.

Two shootings in close proximity brought detectives to a quiet area in northeast Baltimore on Saturday night. The first one left a man shot in the leg at a smoke shop along the Harford Road corridor. The second one, roughly three hours later, left a man dead several blocks away.

It seemed like family and friends were gathering at the crime scene. They were distraught and rightfully protective of their loved one. That distress led to fighting, though, and that appeared to overwhelm officers at the crime scene.

There was a report of a shooting near the intersection of Harford Road and Rosalie Avenue tonight. Homicide detectives were requested. I went to the crime scene because I noticed it was close to where someone was shot hours earlier, and I wondered if the incidents were related.
