I'm not around much, because I'm focusing on writing.

But I wanted to pop in to wish everyone a very merry holiday season (the horrors persist, but so do we).

Picked up this book at a visit to Carr House a few weeks ago. Maybe 2025 is a year of reading about art instead of making art. My camera and pen sit idle, filled with weariness.

I see grocery/takeout shaming discourse going around again, so this is your periodic historian reminder that cooking from scratch daily while working has never been sustainable, and for millennia everyone either relied on takeout & restaurants or ate in huge households w/ big dorm-like group dining.
