I hear you, but Trump carries it to an entirely new level. In abandoning the Kurds to the tender mercies of Saddam Hussein, Bush the Elder did not go a step further and embrace Hussein, or yet another step further and pledge to help revitalize Iraq's economy under Hussein.

My point was that the ad featuring Harris supporting taxpayer-funded sex change operations for illegal immigrants in prison for felonies was hugely effective. If you don't understand that, well, as we say in the old country, Non c'è peggiore sordo di chi non vuole sentire.

So the Democrats should never try to attract voters who once went the other way? I’m sure you don’t mean that. The name of the game is coalition building. There are a number of very good democratic governors who could build coalitions and easily beat a MAGA candidate in 2028.
