The pic is just to lure people in.
I had a very interesting chat this evening, and one of the subjects was community. It really made me realise just how much a part of everything I do is now about building communities.
It's a slight echo chamber question for here, but how important is it to you?

What I love about tinkering with old computers is when you open them up you never know what you'll find.
This ZX81 must have been a kit build. There's no way they would have fitted components in the factory like this!

Once you let Speccy's take hold in your lawn you're stuck with them for years. Probably have to set fire to it now.

A new video coming tomorrow featuring @heredragons.be and @petescircuit.bsky.social in their amazing @shortcircuit.org.uk Gallery shop museum storage thing.
I took my son Thomas to the seaside for the day and we had a brilliant time!

And finally on Sunday I took my pal Fuzzy Lee on ANOTHER road trip, this time to the Cambridge Museum of Computing History where they were holding a bring and byte sale.
I took lots of video and bought far more than I thought I would!
Video will be coming soon!

On Saturday Thomas and I went on a MEGA road trip to the @shortcircuit.org.uk guys @petescircuit.bsky.social and @heredragons.be in glorious Sandgate in Kent.
We had the best day there and the video of that trip will be coming very soon!
Thank you Tony and Pete!

On Friday Thomas and I went for a mini road trip to the Befriending Scheme farm to get an update on the dinky donkeys.
That video will be appearing some time this week.

I didn't like that the ring light which was supplied with my microscope was mains powered, so I took it apart.
I'm glad I did!
Crossing the mains neutral over the low voltage side to a tiny switch is very dodgy.
I can't use this like this, it's not safe
