MAIN CHANNEL VIDEO!
I build the best ZX81 and put it in an amazing case. AND THEN! I gave it a mechanical keyboard that looks simply stunning!
I'm a bit excited to share this one with you.

Saw these books in a charity shop and thought of @morefunmakingit.bsky.social I bought the Spectrum book for my collection.
A book on making YouTube videos, and a Spectrum Handbook next to each other in a charity shop.

Haha! That's a great find! I wonder what nuggets of wisdom are in the YouTube manual.
"Use a Big Red Arrow on your thumbnails" 😂

VideoBeast and the 'universal' host board that plugs into the ZX Spectrum, RC2014 and MicroBeast. The next job is checking the SD Card interface works, then there will hopefully be a second revision of both host and video interface to send out to devs.

848x480 pixels on a Spectrum!? Of course!
The VideoBeast graphics 'chip' and a host interface for Spectrum, RC2014 and MicroBeast computers.

Yeah, this would fit well in the youtube scheme of things.

The way I look at it most people that like intros wouldn't miss them, but those that don't like them would always be annoyed by them.
Opening is so important. @adriansdigitalbasement.com does a cold open and then the intro. That's a good way to keep the brand feeling

Been think about this all morning. Collectively, do we like YouTuber title sequences? Or do we prefer jumping straight in?

Personally, I feel it frames a video more like an 'episode', but maybe I'm still conditioned for traditional TV due to my age.

It might be a waste of your time mate. I quite like a cold opening. And the first 30 seconds of a video are super important. You might notice people using intros less and less

But it's a super kind and generous offer. Thank you 😊
