Too weird for the normies. Too normal for the weirdos. Always the wrong guy. Let's fucking go.
Yep! I remember that.

Heck, they basically reprinted what could play exactly the same as Juzam and no one blinked. Context matters, we eventually figured out.

If you weren't playing Thoracle in the recent No Holds Barred cube, shenanigans involving Cub and Strip Mine/Wasteland were quite effective.

In the realm of engaging nonfiction, my favorite read this year was Candace Dillard's Destiny of the Republic.
Fascinating history that is very compellingly written.

Is there a benefit to running Mine and Tower without Power Plant that I'm overlooking?

Echoing everyone else here about block lists. I've had accounts I want to see get tossed onto those and had to tweak accordingly.

And the fact that Superman is iconic - his existence uplifts others. Not everyone is going to behave exactly like him.

But he at least inspires others to do more than just eat their bowl of cereal or comb their hair.

Just nodding hard in agreement.

The people who hated on the recent Superman movie? Largely missed the fact that the world it takes place in is decidedly not ours.

When these stories brush against actual reality, it should be a thought experiment, not a reflection or pronouncement.

Irony, I live his district. That far right hook there that scoops out a chunk of progressive voters in a three college town? That's me right there.

Ok that is a fallacy. If Bernie's M4A would have passed under Biden, there's a very real chance 2024 has a different result.

What are you getting at?

Also, I should say, I'm not a hater! Costplusdrugs.com is fantastic and I use it to take care of basic meds.

But to answer this question a second time - if the biggest chains opt out... should the rules of the open marketplace step in to provide profitable care to the less wealthy?

That's how it is in other countries that already have universal care. Us plebs just don't want to be bankrupted over something as basic as a broken leg.

And to your second question, there's LOTS of people in health care that are there to take care of people, not just get rich. Calm down buddy.

8 to 12 pct more in taxes would be a lower burden than what I currently pay in premiums and deductibles. Seems good.

And your curative meds thing? You're talking about outlier stuff. I already do not have access to that if I need it. There's no change there.
December 10, 2025 at 11:40 PM
Mark, I already have to see a PCP before being referred to a specialist. How is that a change?

My greatest weakness. I take everything 10% too seriously. 😆

Imposter syndrome is never correct. Especially in this day and age. Have you seen the quality of human in massive positions of power in this day and age? Yes, I know you have.

Even if you actually do suck, you're still miles ahead of those worthless windbags.
