🌱 #NZT - Die Akademien der Wissenschaften Schweiz begrüssen das Ziel einer differenzierten und risikobasierten Regulierung von #Pflanzen aus neuen #Züchtungstechnologien, sehen den Gesetzesentwurf aber kritisch. Zur Stellungnahme ➡️ scnat.ch/de/id/pDqQq

Die Akademien der Wissenschaft Schweiz (a+) unterstützen grundsätzlich den Ansatz, neue Verfahren wie CRISPR/Cas risikobasiert zu regulieren. Die Regulierung müsse jedoch stärker auf die Eigenschaften der Pflanzen ausgerichtet sein und nicht primär auf Züchtungsverfahren. Auch beim Nachweis eines Mehrwerts, bei Freisetzungsversuchen und bei der praktischen Umsetzbarkeit von Kennzeichnung und Rückverfolgbarkeit sehen die Akademien Klärungsbedarf.

🌱 #NTS - Les Académies suisses des sciences saluent l'idée d'une réglementation différenciée et basée sur les risques des #plantes issues des nouvelles #technologies de sélection, mais sont toutefois critiques à l'égard de ce projet de loi. Vers la prise de position ➡️ scnat.ch/fr/id/pDqQq

La loi sur les nouvelles technologies de sélection (LNTS) est actuellement en consultation. Les Académies suisses des sciences (a+) saluent l'idée d'une réglementation fondée sur les risques pour les nouvelles technologies de sélection comme CRISPR/Cas. Toutefois, le projet de loi devrait porter davantage sur les caractéristiques des plantes et non en premier lieu sur la procédure de sélection. D'autres aspects (preuve de la plus-value, disséminations expérimentales, étiquetage et traçabilité, etc.) nécessitent en outre des clarifications.
