Earlier today I heard what I swear sounded like a bullfrog. I get a lot of peepers, chorus frogs and tree frogs from the park and swampy areas, but no bigger frogs, so I dismisses it. Fast forward to going out to water the plants. #frog #bullfrog #amphibian #backyardwildlife

Not supposed to walk after dark. What if I walk before dawn? Birds were up, so it's fine,right? A million robins and a few bunnies.

World is a lot and need a news break. So went outside to clean up the side bed which has a bunch of wild strawberries. I was picking some of them, and this dude showed up right in front of me and it felt pretty awesome. #nativeplants #dragonfly #insects #gardening

I have been trying to get more native plants in the yard and understandably, sometimes they just happen. In this case, a ton of wild strawberries on the side of the house. #nativeplants

This looks like a mess of a mud pit, but it's actually a very small test rain garden near my sump pump runoff. And I'm thrilled that the plants I stuck in there are back and clearly growing.
