App says its a great horned owl, which was my suspicion. I know one lives in the park - I heard some dueling hooters some weeks back. #naturephotos#feather#bird#owl

Earlier today I heard what I swear sounded like a bullfrog. I get a lot of peepers, chorus frogs and tree frogs from the park and swampy areas, but no bigger frogs, so I dismisses it. Fast forward to going out to water the plants. #frog#bullfrog#amphibian#backyardwildlife

First world problems: Price tags. I loathe purchasing an item, getting it home, peeling the price tag off (or battling a price tag that won't come off), so that I can have a perma-sticky spot.
Sure, goo-gone, hair dryers, olive oil, you name it - either sticky, or sticky and ruined.

I own a few computers with different operating systems, and Windows 11 has annoyed me so much that I put Linux Mint on a spare old computer. I am not a Linux Person, but the silence makes me miss those earlier versions of Windows with no ads, AI, and constant reminders to put my stuff on the cloud.

Work-in-progress rain garden in the yard. This year I had Blue Flag Irises blooming so clearly they're appreciating the spot. #washtenaw#raingarden#nativeplants

World is a lot and need a news break. So went outside to clean up the side bed which has a bunch of wild strawberries. I was picking some of them, and this dude showed up right in front of me and it felt pretty awesome. #nativeplants#dragonfly#insects#gardening

I have been trying to get more native plants in the yard and understandably, sometimes they just happen. In this case, a ton of wild strawberries on the side of the house. #nativeplants

Drider from the Underdark, an NPC in a D&D game. Procreate sketch using a few different paint-style brushes. I think I mostly just wanted to paint spidery legs.

Updating any sort of tech/device/software right now is sort of bracing yourself to see what sort of nonsense BS the company is going to add to your device whether you want it or not, and what you need to attempt to shut off afterwards.

With ongoing attempts to strip regulations, it’s more important than ever to dump a company at the first sign of shady behavior. This goes beyond boycotts into matters if privacy, safety and health.
