Chronically ill queer mom of two in Indiana trying to stay informed and taking action for my community.
Up vs Down
Indiana is introducing a bill (Senate Bill 286) to criminalize the use of masks at public assemblies 🙃
Don’t underestimate the impact you’re making when you choose to wear a mask.

You’re protecting your health & the health of your community. You’re helping ease the burden on our healthcare system.

You’re standing in solidarity with disabled people & telling the government that no one is expendable

Remember that you still have more in common with your local conservative farmer or local liberal librarian than you do any career politician or corporation.

Left vs Right is a distraction.

It's still Up vs Down.

I swear to God, I never want to hear the word “bipartisanship” ever again unless it’s in the context of the working class banding together to make sure yall never hold public office again.
It is time to look to the future.

The challenges that face America are many and great.

The Senate must respond with resolve, bipartisanship, and fidelity to the working and middle class of this country.

My God. You’re so happy. You don’t even know who Elon Musk is. I envy your existence so much.

#Indiana is introducing Senate Bill 286 which would criminalize the use of medical masks in public assemblies, effectively making it harder (or in some cases impossible) for disabled and chronically ill folks to attend community meetings such as school board and city council meetings.

#Tiktok only works on desktop for me right now but it's back up for a lot of people.

Just a reminder of some of the context around the TikTok ban: In 2020, Trump tried to ban it via executive order a couple months after K-pop fans used it to organize fake signups to Trump’s Tulsa rally, which led him to publicly overestimate how large the crowd size would be.
