I’ve quit telling people that I disagree with them. Instead, I now say, “I’m gonna have to agree with myself on this one.” It’s self-positive, non-confrontational, and just weird enough to end the conversation.

This has been a huge game changer for me as I am in the midst of DWP forms hell and need to get health professionals to fill forms in for me. Just used the Notes app on my phone to turn the page into a pdf and emailed it to my oncologist to fill in. Sharing in case it helps anybody else!

Today is not just the last day of 2024, but also the last day of work for me at my current job. This is my 3rd voluntary redundancy, so I know that things will work out just fine 🙌🏽 Lots of new beginnings for me for the new year

I took a gamble and ordered a sofa in a clearance sale that was under £500 including delivery. It was a mission getting it in (I didn’t check the measurements because I trusted the universe) but LOOK AT HER

Moved in to the new house two days ago and it’s so quiet 🙌🏽 after almost 9 years of living in a flat, in an old converted house with NO soundproofing, I feel like a new person

I moved out of the (cursed) flat I’ve rented since may 2016 today. In the time my bf and I lived there, we’ve been through his redundancy, covid, turning 40, stage 3 bowel cancer, NOISY neighbours, depression, moth infestation and the most dust I’ve ever seen in my life!

Nothing like spending Sunday in bed, drinking a coffee and eating toast… surrounded by mountains of boxes, ready to move out of The Cursed Flat and into a HOUSE. Roll on Wednesday 🙌🏽
