Let me make sure I’m understanding this:

Bluesky didn’t include Link’s entire reply, so are they saying what’s in the alt text is the issue?

So, Link, a champion for accessibility & use of alt text, got banned for [checks notes] stating a fact in the alt text of a photo?

Do I have that right?

Unfortunate update: Link reached out to BlueSky and got email back now on reason.

His appeal is denied. He will remain permanently banned on BlueSky’s side.

Here are the screenshots he just sent me as of 8:22 AM EST(my time)

Right like either someone reported him or they tried to silence him either way it’s a bad look esp given he’s saying he didn’t even get a notice and there sthm I see commonly that some people don’t even get an email saying what happened. It’s not everyone but there also the issue it’s inconsistent 🤨
