I know straight people have a hard time drawing a line between erotica and porn, but in the gay world it's easy!
Just ask yourself: do I reasonably expect, going in, that the characters WILL NOT process any of their traumas during their sexy/kinky activities? If yes, it's porn; if no, it's erotica.
