And like I’m not an oily person- I wash my hands probably more than I should, and none of my other controllers had that issue- it’s specifically a problem I had with the Switch Pro Controller and the 2DS XL, and nothing else. Something about that era of nintendo plastic

The sticks are nicer, the dpad is more precise, the buttons are whisper quiet, and it very pointedly isn’t made out of that disgusting plastic that seems to trap finger oils. I had to keep cleaning wipes handy for my original pro controller because I hated how grimy it always felt so much

I feel the exact opposite ahaha. The switch 2 pro controller feels so much better than the original one that even if it’s still very expensive it feels like I got what I paid for. The charge grip feels like $40 for something that should be baseline and *also* it’s a mediocre feeling controller

The charge grip thing was stupid on the original switch as well, just a completely asinine decision. The fact that the grip is so outrageously expensive for the switch 2 for what is essentially two buttons and a USB C port feels legitimately disrespectful at this point

TO BE FAIR, this is using the Holy Lance (which I got super early by monster recruiting, breeding, and then poaching) on an Undead, so it’s not exactly a “normal” enemy encounter ahaha. *this* is a more typical exchange
