The Panasonic UB820 is the standard for a reason. Underrated feature is it does *fantastic* upscaling of Blu-Rays. Miami Vice '06 blew me away.

You might want the 4K with Dolby vision. I jumped out of my goddamn chair at the contrast when Dreyfuss fumbles for the flashlight in the pickup.

Just make sure you do all you can to cut out ambient light. It truly pops in a dark room - strongly recommend a rewatch of Close Encounters.

Industrial process design is one of the few fields where I've been impressed at what AI can do, but there's a big difference between "we used AI and found a more efficient reactor design" and "we used AI to skip over the safety paperwork."

Paramore's pretty good - the thing about this list is none of these artists are bad, but there are some glaring absences. Like Rush. The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Tom Petty & The Wallflowers. I could go on.
