"The Epstein class has built and is expanding a giant apparatus to disappear whoever they want, including children, without any way of knowing what's happening to them, and they're all also taking bribes from Epstein co-conspirators to engage in the cover-up" writes itself!

Sens Jon Husted (R-OH) & Bernie Moreno (R-OH) both got big payments from Les Wexner and then on cue started to disparage investigations into the Epstein files. This is how the corrupt system works.

The pure, distilled amount of 19th century intra-European racism throughout Texas could power the Eastern seaboard for a year

“My paternal grandparents were from Sicily…”
“Oh you one of them Eye-talians, eh?”

I was sure he was going to shoot me. Left immediately.

Funny story about my time in Texas: got approached by someone in a diner outside of Lubbock, who asked, unprompted, “What are you?”

“I’m sorry?”
“Where are you from?”
“Philadelphia, originally.”
“No, no; I mean, *where* are you from?”

Cobain went from getting rejected by The Melvins and playing in lumberjack bars to knocking off Michael Jackson at the top of the Billboard 200 and sweeping the Grammys within sixteen months; you're never seeing a meteoric rise like that in music ever again

I listen to these old demos and it’s like I’m back in 1993. I close my eyes and I’m there, I can smell it.

The problem is finding said motivated Congress
I still believe, even after all this, that, if you had a competent Congress with the political willpower, you could fix approximately 70% of the country's problems that can be fixed through federal legislation in only one session.

The real problem here is that polarization under a two-party system neuters any chance of actual legislation being passed, which means that the executive and courts have to pick up the proverbial slack, which leads to where we are now
