Butterfly buns? Spotted dick? Bombay duck?!? 🤭 Tbh I’m a veggie and hate this recent trend to shoehorn illogical meat references into every non-meat product - “meat-free chilli CON CARNE” anyone?!? 🤦‍♀️ - it makes me queasy and puts me off buying the darn things. 🤷‍♀️

A small fire at the front of the bookshop was started last night after rubbish bags that were awaiting collection were set on fire. The guards don’t have reason at this time to believe it was a targeted attack. Thankfully the damage was limited and everyone is safe. We are open for business as usual

My generation faces very similar difficulties over the pond. Born 1970 in the UK I’ve witnessed the obliteration of jobs-for-life, pension security, affordable home ownership, erosion of personal savings etc. - much of it thanks to Thatcher.

Ahh they finally released the public consultation. 44% of respondents were general public/ not artists.

97% in favour of making it permanent.
On average, respondents thought it should last 12 years.
