I think you grossly misunderstand. The overwhelming majority of Americans support measures to curb mass shootings, even those who own guns or support the right to. The government is simply bought and paid for by the NRA and the firearms industry, and as long as that's the case, no change will happen

iirc CYMA Platinum M4s and SR25s also come with a MOSFET from the factory, just a less fancy one. I know older production runs had some issues with the MOSFETs but I believe they've fixed those issues now.
