They hate when we unionize because the power of the people becomes felt.

Because the current government will not solve it. And it seems likely no future government will, either. Mark's point, I think, is that unions have had success historically by leveraging the power of the many and can give people an alternative so they can abandon the current for-profit system.

This is a reminder that no one can convince Trump voters to no longer support Trump, better than Trump can.

i think it is important to say that the open and explicit racism of the president and the vice president isn’t just uncouth or “controversial” but a direct attack on tens of millions of americans and a dereliction of their duty to represent the entire country

Serious question for Republicans: has Donald Trump ever taken responsibility for anything bad that's ever happened while he was in charge? Has he ever shouldered the blame for anything that's gone wrong?

Gosh, I remember when we had an actual president instead of a loudmouth bully who won't take responsibility for his actions.

What a shock that within days of Trump taking office, there is widespread chaos across numerous areas of American life. Was really hard to predict.

Trump wants to distract you from the fact that he gutted the Aviation Safety Committee and ousted the FAA administrator last week.

Don’t let him.

The Teamsters have endorsed Democrats for president since '96. And despite the Dems saving pensions and retirement benefits for 2 million Americans, the Teamsters didn't endorse a candidate this cycle. Now, within a week of taking office, Trump gutted the NLRB. Is this what Sean O'Brien had in mind?

"The United States was involved in a trade war in 1930 due to the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act. This act raised tariffs on imported goods, which led to other countries retaliating with their own tariffs. The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act is often cited as one of the main causes of the Great Depression"

When Trump imposes tariffs on Colombian coffee, Colombian flowers, Colombian bananas and pineapples and avocados, on Colombian oil, it's us Americans who will pay those added costs. We're not even a week into Trump's term and he's already imposed a brand new tax on all of us.

As dems we really need to step oup our shit talk. The republicans can go back and forth for eternity about semantics and bullshit, but they have very fragile egos. Hit them where it hurts! #eloncuck

I have yet to see him acknowledge it directly and apologize that it came out the “wrong way”. Tells you everything you need to know.
